Kristian Finborud is known for capturing both large and small moments with humor and a keen eye for the Norwegian people. The subjects range from the high mountains to the beach area and are characterized by a sketch-like style, clear compositions, and depictions of nature that approach the abstract.

The exhibition consists of graphics created as etchings. The printing process is an important part of Finborud’s artistic work. The motif is etched into a metal plate using acid, creating deep marks in the plate. This gives the finished images a distinct texture and a relief-like effect.
